Today is June 20th midnight and I am writing this review second time Happy Hyundai is worst place ever seen in my life shameful people not respond yet Worst dealer May 16th purchase new vehicle with out 2nd key and not paid off my trading yet I made a payment On trading vehicle, looks all management are in coma no one responded to this situation and don’t have any shame and respect for customers. We went to Happy’s Hyundai in Libertyville to look at a used Palisades that was listed on their website and cars.com for $41,300. After a test drive we felt like it was the perfect vehicle at the perfect price. We went in to negotiate and buy the vehicle. The long story short is that they never intended to sell the vehicle for that price. They said they would not and could not sell us the vehicle without certifying it because of the low miles. Safety issues lack of concern for customers
I have previously given this dealer several 5 star reviews. We purchased the vehicle new in December 2023. We also purchased the “special VIP” pack that guaranteed priority services and loaner vehicle. Unfortunately something has changed significantly at Happy Hyundi of Libertyville. We brought our vehicle in for service and it was found to have a broken coupler. The part needed to be ordered, which is understandable. The vehicle is 2 years old with 28k miles so it will be covered under warranty to a limited degree. They will replace the broken coupler but we must ... Read More

Worst dealer for service. 2 hours for oil change and tire rotation. I'm done with them
This place claims to offer a price match guaranty and requires you to come to their dealership with the written offer. I felt a scam coming, so I refused to come in but provided them the written offer, and they (of course) refused to match it. When I held their sales manager Abel accountable to hold up their end of their promise, he accused me of bullying him and claimed the offer I had wasn't valid because it wasn't signed. Horrible sales experience! We ended up going to a different town and different dealership to buy. Our test drive included a disruptive salesperson in the back seat so we couldn’t privately discuss anything without him chiming in. We’re in our 50’s with flawless driving records. Do we need an escort?!!, Our sales rep was “roachy” and relies on high-pressure tactics rather than letting the car speak for itself. Zero stars should be an option.
Purchased a car in September with the intention of shipping overseas. I was told the title would take 6-8 weeks. No vehicle can be shipped overseas without a title. The sales and finance team were well aware of these plans and knew we needed the title quickly. I received endless emails asking for referrals for their dealership but not a single update on my paperwork, which was delayed.

I purchased a palisade from Hyundai Libertyville a couple years ago and bought out my lease so decided to purchase some warranties. At the time I was told I could cancel them at any time. Since, we've had some car issues and none seemed to be covered under the warranties we decided to cancel the warranties. I called to cancel and was told I had to come in person to sign paperwork. Recently bought a used car from this shop. We noticed that it had some scratches from what looked like a minor side swipe on one side. Before agreeing to purchase, we asked if those scratches could be removed, otherwise we were not interested in the car. We were told yes, no issue. We came back to pick up the car over the weekend, but before doing so, my husband called to confirm the scratches were removed. We were told yes, they were taken care of. I had my Palisade in for a warranty service. From scheduling to pick up all was great. The new location is great. Also the entire staff I dealt with were informed and pleasant. I will say I had a so-so experience a couple years ago at old location. Didn't know if I would return. This appointment changed my mind. Good job all.
I called to arrange a service appointment. Unlike Gurnee Hyundai where I unfortunately bought my car, they answered on the second or third ring and were able to get me in for a same day appointment. John was my service advisor. I waited for the car. It was ready in short order. I am very pleased.
Both Anthony and Eli were very helpful and showed genuine interest with resolving my service concerns. The oil change was completed quickly and a new part was ordered for a warranty item. Communication was very good and the scheduling of the original appointment was very easy.
Eli was helpful and kept me informed of the progress of my repair. waiting area clean and well set up for waiting. My only complaint was the close to two hour wait for what I was told was an hour repair since they did a thorough inspection of the car, trying to sell me all kinds of things when I just needed a repair on a part that was still under warranty. My time is valuable too!
Lexie took my car in & was very friendly, She also kept us well informed. Waiting area is great.

Bought my Sonata somewhere else because I didn’t like the salesman. They are me local dealership and had to have my car towed there. They were fabulous in service department even as I was freaking out because car died on toll road.

Looking to get a 2023 Palisade. The sales rep was fine he was just doing what he was told. They are using expensive add on as market adjustments and saying we just want to add value. Fine but I did not need any of the addons. Sales manager told me straight out "I can't sell you this car of sticker price". Guess what I left and they lost a sale.
